Jim Breyer To Join Datalogix Board of Directors
WESTMINSTER, Colo. – April 7, 2014 – Datalogix, the company connecting online ads to offline sales, today announced that Breyer Capital, a global high-impact equity investor, has made a significant investment in the Company and that Jim Breyer will join its Board of Directors.
Mr. Breyer, who also remains a partner at Accel Partners, was a long-time board member of Facebook, Dell and Walmart, and he currently serves on the boards of several private technology companies, including Etsy, and on the boards of 21st Century Fox and the Harvard Corporation, Harvard University’s senior governing board. Mr. Breyer is also co-founder and on the Strategic Investment Committee and Board of Directors of IDG China Capital Funds.
“Connecting advertising directly to in-store product sales is the Holy Grail for marketers, and I believe Datalogix delivers the best platform on the market for achieving this,” said Mr. Breyer, who was ranked #1 on the Forbes “Midas List” of top technology investors in 2013, 2012, and 2011. “I have watched Datalogix propel itself in an incredibly short period of time from small start-up to a trusted core infrastructure provider for the world’s leading brands and media businesses. Datalogix’s Buy-Through Rate and ROI metrics are cracking the code on one of the most important questions for any marketer: how to ensure ads are driving real sales in stores. I am incredibly excited, both as a board member and an investor, to work with Datalogix through its next stage of growth.”
“As we looked to round out our Board of Directors, we sought a candidate who could bring both Silicon Valley start-up DNA and experience as a Fortune 500 Board veteran,” said Eric Roza, CEO of Datalogix. “Jim is a master of both worlds and brings invaluable insight to our Board of Directors at a time of immense opportunity. Best of all, he shares my passion for the Datalogix mission, and I look forward to working with him closely on company strategy and strategic partnerships.”
